Roxy Music: Academy of Music, New York NY
Chris Charlesworth, Melody Maker, 8 March 1975
NEW YORK: Roxy Music's apparent inability to register any real commercial success in the USA can, I feel, be blamed on their refusal to attempt to reach a mass audience. They tried it once, supporting Jethro Tull when the first Roxy was alive and well, but they didn't care for the experience. Now they're prepared to try their luck by selling out small halls to a cult following, hoping that word of mouth will spread their popularity.
