I'M STILL FEELING the noise. Slade are so much part of British culture. They were the quintessential hard rocking band with a neat line in fantastic stomping pop tunes. All topped off with Noddy Holder’s awesome vocal power they utterly dominated the first half of the '70s pop scene, with six straight in number one singles and four number one albums there can be no argument.
