A Wrock Riter's Guilty Pleasure: The Killers
Barney Hoskyns, Rock's Backpages, October 2006
IN LIMEYLAND we're obsessed with Guilty Pleasures, thanks not least to the doughty efforts of DJ Sean Rowley, who revels on his radio show in playing ancient REO Speedwagon and Bonnie Tyler tracks, ie songs know you should loathe but you secretly adore. I've always had soft spots for such items, not least Speedwagon's 'Keep On Lovin' You' but above all Boston's quite sublime 'More Than a Feeling'... but then Kurt Cobain knew that.
