Alexis Korner: Bootleg Him (1973)

It’s hard to overstate Alexis Korner’s contribution to the development of British popular music. His position as a tirelessly driven champion of The Blues in the early ‘60s meant that his clubs — in Ealing in ’61 and at the Marquee in ’62 — were a magnet for young blues enthusiasts looking for the scene.
