Allen Ginsberg 1926-1997
Miles, MOJO, June 1997
Allen Ginsberg and I were friends for over 30 years, and even though I am his official biographer, it is hard to sum up so full a life. As well as a prolific and respected poet, he campaigned against the Vietnam War, for homosexual law reform, the legalisation of pot, and numerous ecological, religious and social causes. His impact on the world was enormous.
