Bass Instincts: The Bob Daisley Interview
Joe Matera, Total Bass Guitar, 2004
FOR MORE THAN 30 years now, Australian born-bassist Bob Daisley has been laying down the foundation of which some of the greatest rock and roll ever recorded has been built upon. His bass playing with bands such as Widowmaker, Rainbow, Ozzy Osbourne and Gary Moore, became an integral part of each artist's sound and recorded output. In this exclusive interview with Joe Matera, Daisley looks back over his tenure with Ozzy and Rainbow and talks candidly about his protracted legal fight with the Osbourne empire over unpaid royalties, an issue every serious musician must take note of.
