Be-Bop Deluxe: Live in LA
Sylvie Simmons, Sounds, 1976
SANTA MONICA CIVIC is not the best place to see a rock concert in Los Angeles. It's got about as much rock atmosphere as the Festival Hall, and it's the venue of which they say that no matter where you sit you can't see the stage unless you're in the front row. I was in the twelfth which afforded a perfect view of eleven rows of heads and the occasional glimpse of a Be-Bop.
