Ben Gansell, Freelance Piano Tuner

Jim Esposito, Rock Magazine, 7 May 1973

BEN GANSELL is a stocky, heavy-set man of medium height with a full head of bristly hair which he keeps conscientiously trimmed just a shade longer than a crew cut. A pair of clear, dark-rimmed eyeglasses slant across his square, swarthy complexioned face at a weird angle, suggesting either the frame is out of alignment or his ears are uneven. His nose appears to be more of a fulcrum than a support for his crooked spectacles and he carries himself with the air of a very meek ex-Marine.
