Bob Dylan: Wembley Stadium
Mary Harron, Guardian, The, July 1984
ALL SUMMER, Christians have been performing in football stadiums; first we had Luis Palau, then Billy Graham, and now Bob Dylan. But as it turned out there was no evangelising from Dylan in spite of his much-publicised conversion, although he did offer some of his religiously- inspired songs. The bulk and certainly the most memorable part of his Wembley performance on Saturday was devoted to a remarkably generous selection of classics from the Sixties virtually Bob Dylan's Greatest Hits.
