Bob Marley and the Wailers: Rastaman Vibration
Simon Frith, Street Life, 15 May 1976
I DON'T KNOW how this music will be rated but my word would be mellow. This is a very uncluttered album – the rhythms are spare, Marley's voice is totally dominant and the support is suppliant – voices and keyboards responding like a gospel group, the guitars played blue.
