Bonnie Raitt: New Victoria, London
Robin Katz, Sounds, 3 April 1976
AS GLADYS Knight and co would say, this was perfection in performance — a pip. Bonnie Raitt and her loyal musical storm-troopers were ready to brave the traditional British audience frost. (Fooled you, didn't we?) "I'll just pretend this is Montana so I won't be nervous" Bonnie remarked in an early aside. By the third number, the mutual love affair between the audience and a small girl and her guitar was well underway.
