Booker T and M.G.'s
John Abbey, Blues & Soul, October 1971
DONALD 'DUCK' Dunn, best known in R&B circles for his invaluable contribution to our music via Booker T. & The M.G.'s, was recently in London as guest bass guitarist with his friend, Tony Joe White. Both Duck and Tony Joe live in Memphis and Duck's visit was mainly as a personal favour to Tony Joe, who was recording his first 'live' album during the tour.
