Brass Construction
John Abbey, Blues & Soul, February 1976
I'M NOT prone to making rash statements (as most readers of B&S of any long-standing will bear witness) but I am going to predict that Brass Construction is going to be the most significant new name to arrive during the bicentenary year of 1976. Already their debut album is well on the way to the top and it is my firm belief that they will go on to topple their stable-mates, B.T. Express, as the leading exponents of what we have come to term disco-music.
