Brook Benton: Either You Got It Or You Don't Got It

ONE OF the most pleasing successes of 1970 was Brook Benton with what to me was probably the most soulful record of that year, 'Rainy Night In Georgia'. Brook's success was anything but an overnight one; he has been recording hits since the late 50's when he attained superstar status with Mercury and such hits as 'Revenge', 'Kiddio' and duets with the late Dinah Washington.
