Brownsville Station: Yeah!
Gene Sculatti, Phonograph Record, October 1973
I DON'T KNOW if there's any correlation between Brownsville Station's oddly misplaced power chords on parts of their new album and the band's misreading of the lyrics to Lou Reed's 'Sweet Jane' within, but no matter. This Detroit trio is plenty attentive to the spirit angle from the word "go".
