Bruce Springsteen: Le Palais des Congres, Paris
Chris Roberts, Uncut, August 1997
BRUCE IS telling a story (and I am scribbling furiously). "This is a song about men and women. I didn't write about men and women for a very long time. I wrote about men and their cars, and that was going so good I figured I'd stick with that for a while. Then came men in cars looking at women that worked real well. Then men and women in cars, but without that much communication going on. But I made a nice living with that kind of writing for a longtime.
