By the Time I Got Back to Woodstock
Steve Turner, Independent, The, 4 August 1990
TO SALLY GROSSMAN, the living room of her Bearsville home near Woodstock in New York State is nothing extraordinary. It has an old fireplace, some antique furniture, a Welsh dresser and a lot of candlesticks. To me, though, it was a piece of history, for here 25 years ago Sally dressed in a modish red suit, lit a cigarette and sat on a sofa with Bob Dylan for a picture which became the cover of Bringing It All Back Home. Sally and her room had become part of rock iconography.
