After 1958, the year of his second sell-out tour of the UK, Charlie Gracie faded quickly from the ranks of front-line rock'n'roll singers. But on that tour the 5 foot 4 inch 21-year-old mauled a huge custom-made Guild guitar and rocked the Granadas and Hippodromes to the delight of fans and critics alike.
