CHARLIE HADEN — bassist in Ornette Coleman's epochal late '50s quartet and former leader of the politically charged Liberation Orchestra — has spawned some mighty hip progeny. Son Josh, 27, is the guiding force behind brooding dirge-rockers Spain, while Rachel, 23, helms LA's alterna-pop darlings that dog. And, oh yeah, Josh and Rachel also play bass. Go figure.
