ON ONE level, this gig (the second of City Boy's current tour) could be whiled away by playing "spot the influence" – 10cc, Roxy, the Dan, Zappa and, above all, the Tubes, all being given tips of the musical hat in a show so self-consciously clever it alienates a good proportion of the audience from the word go.
