Cocksucker Blues: A Film by Robert Frank and Danny Seymour
Bud Scoppa, Phonograph Record, December 1976
This unreleased – and suppressed – documentary of The Stones 72 US tour is far and away the most revealingly powerful rock & roll movie Ive ever seen. Although The Stones have never allowed the films release (they commissioned it, but didnt approve when it was finished), a few hundred San Franciscans were lucky enough recently to get a look at it, thanks to the organizers of a film series (partially sponsored by KSAN) called "Music and the Movies".
