Note: This deliberately rather facetious story was written for a Tip magazine cover story in summer 1992, and translated into German by Wolfgang Doebeling. I’m afraid I don’t have the German translation. The commissioning process was pretty much as described in the opening paragraphs, and Tip was pleased still to be getting letters of complaint about it six weeks after publication.
