IT seemed like they were the last gigs of the year. Summer’s coming. Exam requests for DLT, college partings for Anne Nightingale, End of the Old Grey Whistle Test, start of the Radio 1 Road Shows. Few big national tours, fewer big national albums. The last exciting local concerts, far as I can see, till September.
