HOORAY FOR this bopping, rhythm muslc! What more can a groover of a leaper ask for than to be socked endlessly by the compulsive unpretentious might of the Fogerty Bros. & Co.? And, to my utter and complete incredulation, I see that 'Proud Mary', the single which was taken from this album, is up there with the schmaltz and the bubble gum in the top ten – there is hope yet!
