Crosby Stills & Nash: At the Universal Amphitheater, 1997
Dave DiMartino, MOJO, December 1997
"I DIDN'T CUT IT," David Crosby announced from the stage of LA's Universal Amphitheater, a pained grin on his face. "It's falling out." And indeed, what else is left to say before you and your longtime bandmates break into 'Almost Cut My Hair'? That it was getting kinda long? That it was getting in the way? Even stranger than hearing this dated chestnut being performed in a filled amphitheater in 1997 was, perhaps horrifyingly, how good it sounded – especially coming from a trio presumed to have beached long ago with the very whales they once sang about.
