ALREADY A MINOR celebrity in the fevered confines of New Romantic London clubland, Boy George's band Culture Club secured a deal with Virgin in early '82. After two flops, they released third single, 'Do You Really Want To Hurt Me', and all hell broke loose. It topped the charts, soon followed by the album Kissing To Be Clever.
