SOMEWHERE, ROUGHLY TWO THIRDS OF THE WAY through the non-linear-Gothic-drama-hyper-cycle-murder-mystery known as David Bowie's Outside, the seasoned pro lost his audience. What began with the odd disembodied hoot of laughter during the narrative segments soon developed into an angry chorus of jeers and boos, culminating in a hail of missiles aimed straight at the Dame's head.
