Deacon Blue: Glasgow Skyline
Robert Sandall, Q, August 1991
IF A BANDS success could be measured simply in terms of gold, silver and platinum discs earned, then Deacon Blue have clearly had a lot of it. The first sight awaiting anybody who toils up the four flights of stairs to their bright and airy management office suite in central Glasgow is a large collection of those shiny but curiously unattractive — and, since all are framed and under glass, quite unplayable — LP-styled trophies.
