DAVE GAHAN can't breathe. He can also hear nothing. Which is a little odd because there are 30,000 Depeche Mode fans just yards away, screaming for him to drag himself back onstage for an encore. His bandmates are beckoning him back, but Dave is pinned to the spot with chest pains. His senses are swimming. His legs start to buckle.
