Doris Duke: The Other Woman

THERE ARE but a handful of names that seem to have an almost magical effect on soul folk everywhere. For some, the name is held in high esteem because the artist concerned has yet to reach super-star level – that is, they dig the esoteric value of it all. For others, the name conjures up images – images created by that artist's music. Unquestionably, the name Doris Duke has that magical effect.
