A LONG TIME ago, when I first heard 'Sylvia's Mother', a song and image Dr. Hook and the Medicine Show would just as soon one let become a memory, I turned the radio off. I even switched stations when their commercials came on – instant and total rejection. Though I can't remember what prompted those action, to see Dr. Hook.
