NEW ORLEANS bluesman Earl King (69) died from diabetes related complications on April 17 at St. Charles General Hospital in New Orleans. He was a singer, guitarist and songwriter with exceptional talent. He is not to be confused with Earl (Connelly) King who recorded for King Records.
