Eddie Cochran: Somethin' Else - The Fine Lookin' Hits of Eddie Cochran
Colin Escott, Razor & Tie Records, 1998
EDDIE COCHRAN was truly Somethin' Else. He had the look. He had the talent. He had the attitude. He played guitar - really played guitar. He produced his own records. He wrote his own songs. And he died too soon. He died before he made any really bad records, or before he got a chance to hustle pale remakes of his greatest hits on cable television. He died while he was young and handsome, and he died leaving the tantalizing promise of what might have been.
