NOT LONG AFTER Ellie Greenwich, who has died at the age of 68, met her future husband and songwriting partner Jeff Barry at a Thanksgiving dinner in 1960, she expressed her response to the encounter by writing a song called '(Today I Met) The Boy I'm Gonna Marry'.
