FOR THE first time since Bill Haley's motion picture triumph Rock Around The Clock, played at the now-demolished Queen's Cinema, Catford, in 1956, the urge to take a knife and slash at a tip-up seat came upon me during Elton John's sensational performance at Belle Vue, Manchester, on Thursday last week.
