Emmylou Harris: Luxury Liner (Warner Bros.)**
Chas de Whalley, Sounds, 15 January 1977
I'M SORRY, but I don't like Emmylou Harris very much. Doubtless you'll recommend me to the Inquisition for a Heresy like that. But I've been listening to her work almost solidly all weekend, trying for a line on this her third album and now my mind is made up. Whatever Emmylou once had to offer behind Gram Parsons and on her excellent solo debut Pieces Of The Sky, it's now spread mighty thin two albums after. Luxury Liner is frankly tedious.
