Fingers Inc.: Another Side
Simon Witter, Jack Trax/Indigo Music, 1988
2009 NOTE: I wrote a few album sleevenotes in the 80s, but none that I was more chuffed to have been asked to do than Fingers Inc's 1988 debut double album Another Side, which was the first single artist Chicago House album. It turned out to be Fingers Inc.'s only album and is rightly regarded by many as the greatest artist album the scene ever produced. If you can find it now, get the vinyl version! The CD transfer was a disaster as, in trying to fit four sides of vinyl on to one CD, they simply/randomly left off side four, which just happened to contain four of the album's greatest tracks. – SW
