"IT'S THE QUIET ones", as dear departed Ian McDonald once said, "that you shouldn't underestimate". Listening back to my tape after an hour at L'Ermitage Hotel, Beverly Hills, home-from-home (if your home comes equipped with doormen, potted palms, Mexican maids and computerised keyholes), I'm reminded just how quiet Mick Jones is and make a note not to underestimate him.
