Frank Zappa: Dr Zircon's Secret Lab
Miles, MOJO, March 1994
I FIRST MET FRANK Zappa in July 1967, outside the Garrick Theater at 152 Bleeker Street in Greenwich Village. He was standing on the sidewalk, turning in slow circles, barking the show and signing autographs for teenyboppers, most of whom had no idea who he was. He was wearing floral patterned pants, so tight you could see he wasn't Jewish.
