Freddie North
John Abbey, Blues & Soul, November 1971
AFTER SIXTEEN years of trying hard, Freddie North has broken through into the proverbial good time and it couldn't happen to a nicer guy. "I'd almost given up", Freddie admitted from his office at Nashboro Records, where he has been National Promotion Director for the past three years. "I'd had so many tries over the years that I had almost reached the point where I was admitting to myself that I was through with it and that I should concentrate on my job as Promotion Manager here with the company."
