Gene Vincent: He Sounded Like Maybe He Was Testifying

THE MUSICIANS had all arrived and were standing patiently by the door at two o'clock, Sunday afternoon, March 8th. Three were official members of the Sir Douglas Quintet, and one a silent partner. Doug was up North somewhere, getting himself together. The rest, between gigs, had been brought together for perhaps the most difficult session in town: Gene Vincent was recording, and this time for keeps.
