EVENTS LIKE KNEBWORTH, the promoter Freddy Bannister had wanly predicted in Saturday's Guardian, cannot continue for much longer. The reasons for the inevitable decline and ultimate disappearance of such mammoth holiday exhibitions are ones of economics, practicality and, as far as we're concerned, most significantly, culture.
