MOST ALL-GIRL BANDS are pretty stupid And not always for the same reasons most all-guy bands are – too much attitude, too little attitude, too many different attitudes. The better known, if not the best (Fanny, Runaways) were put together by creeps like Richard Perry and Kim Fowley for the same reason heterosexual porn mags are fond of lesbian scenes. Some of the more successful (Go-Go's, Bangles) have nothing to do with rock & roll. Is it any wonder Belinda Carlisle married a young Republican and started selling Agree shampoo?
