Grin: Gone Crazy
Ken Barnes, Rolling Stone, 26 February 1974
NILS LOFGREN, a superb songwriter, possesses an appealing vocal style and is a fine guitarist. On the strength first three albums its unbelievable that he has not yet achieved commercial success. The simplicity of his pop-rock concoctions should please a broad constituency – everyone from Seventies pop-connoisseur elitists to vestigial Neil Young cultists.
