IN THE EYES of many, Scott McCaughey, the front man of Seattle’s infamous musical wise guys, The Young Fresh Fellows, has finally got it made. After decades of struggling to make ends meet as a musician in a band with a considerable cult following, he was befriended by REM’s Peter Buck, who asked McCaughey to join REM’s extended musical family.
