He knows precisely what he wants — freedom of movement, and environment in which to create and a niche in which to perform. But Ian, the latest enigma of British rock, plainly admitted that he was at a loss to know where to start. "I really want to work but I don't know how I'm going to be able to — and I've never been in this position of not knowing what I've wanted to do before.
