IN 1974, RAY Manzarek invited Iggy Pop to front for the Doors. It's said that Iggy dyed his hair jet black to suit the part. Somehow, the Iggy/Doors alliance never happened, but The Idiot sounds like the album Jim Morrison might make today having been stone dead six years.
