"DETROIT IS in a bad way. Recession, depression, whatever you wanna call it. There's a lot of crime, a lot of people out of jobs. These problems go way back to the riots they had in Detroit years ago. After that, all the people with money, all the big companies that made Detroit really stand out, moved out to the suburbs, and Detroit was kinda left there. They said to the Black communities: you can have Detroit."
