Small Town Talk: Shannon McNally's tribute to Bobby Charles

DURING A VISIT to New Orleans twelve years ago, Shannon McNally, a talented young vocalist from New York with a critically acclaimed pop debut to her name, encountered the music of the spirit world. "North American ghost music," she called it. This discovery shook her, and she realized then that her life's purpose was to pursue that spirit. McNally moved to New Orleans and recorded Geronimo, an album awash in soul and blues influences.
