The Alligator Records 20th Anniversary Collection (Alligator)
Tom Graves, Rock and Roll Disc, May 1991
REMEMBER THOSE Lowery Organ displays that were once a staple of every suburban shopping mall in North America? The ones where some weenie in a polyester suit would come out, hit the tab that said "samba," and miraculously produce a snappy rhythm that would erupt out of nowhere? After a small crowd had gathered he would then whip out a few bars of 'Watching the Girls Go By', then flick the magic button on "foxtrot," and away he would go on another jag of pop goofiness.
